  • American: History and Life and JSTOR
    • Databases of articles, books, reviews and many other research tools. Individuals affiliated with a university or college can access these resources for free through their library's web site.
  • History Cooperative
    • HC is a database of history journals from around the world. Many of the journals, such as Labour/Le Travail and the American Historical Review, offer free access to their articles.
  • Érudit
    • Érudit is another major database for accessing electronic journals. Érudit is the best portal for accessing French language journals, although it has many other journals including the Journal of the Canadian Historical Association.
